EU Customs Reform (EUCR) Update Notice
We would like to inform you of important upcoming changes under the EU Customs Reform (EUCR) Phase 1, scheduled to take effect on July 1, 2026.
Please review the following details carefully, as these changes may affect shipments to EU member countries.
📌 Effective Date : July 1, 2026
📌 Applicable Shipments
Low-value shipments under EUR 150 imported from non-EU countries into EU27 member states (Applicable to both B2C and B2B shipments)
★ Major Changes
1. Removal of Duty-Free Threshold
The current EUR 150 duty-free exemption will be abolished.
2. New Flat-Rate Duty for B2C Shipments
For B2C shipments, a new flat-rate customs duty of EUR 3 per line item will be introduced. Classification will be based on: 6-digit HS Code and Country of Origin.
3. Changes for B2B Shipments (Under EUR 150)
For B2B shipments valued under EUR 150:
- Simplified declaration (H7) will no longer be allowed
- Formal customs declaration (H1 / Formal Entry) will be required
- Applicable customs duties and taxes will apply accordingly
4. Product Identifier Requirement (Planned for November 2026)
For B2C shipments, additional Product Identifier information is expected to become mandatory starting from November 2026.
